DANILO COGNIGNI

Is that hull! Maybe it was a spear for fishing with pots, maybe. Maybe it was armed with a latin sail to make proud the helmsman, may be. Today I just know that Danilo Cognigni is that hull on the shore of the Adriatic sea that he loved so much to avoid it in the summer of inhuman pressures. Danilo, but it would be more correct to say his photography, his view through optical instruments, is such that hull, ready to let himself be brushed the stili intact shell by waves of perennial sand. There, indomitable, resists. There, he alone, wants to stay. Up to lost memory or forced removal by weds scavengers of beaches and memories. I would not have anything else to add to get you closer to "the poetry and the salt." The rest are just emotions in part already experienced with Danilo at an exhibition in Bolzano. During the event I bought one photography of there (an umbrella ripped by the wind), to address to it in the moments when I do not know where I am, and why, and for how long. And then, quite simply, I stay for understanding and for leaving myself to its look... how the sea that we both love does, even when we do not show him. How the sea does when it brushes the shores of our too thin lives. Thanks photo of Danilo for what you can show me (over, sometimes elsewhere, most often just a little 'more in there). I invite you to visit the exhibition, there are photographs and poems that sometimes come together and sometimes clash. There, right there, in that exact piace between "The poetry and the salt" ...
