Quando il mondo ti dice che non porterai avanti la gravidanza perchè ci sono troppi fattori di rischio, nasce in te un universo che forte si espande per divenire vita. L’estetica di Alda è un’esclusione momentanea dell’esterno per intraprendere un intimo viaggio. Prima di aprirsi verso l’altro, ogni individuo sente il bisogno primordiale di guardarsi dentro, partendo dal proprio involucro. I suoi lavori non mirano ad addolcire per ottenere a tutti i costi un risultato pulito. Soggetto preponderante della visione di Alda è l’investigare il proprio sentire attraverso le evoluzioni del corpo, frequentando le pieghe della pelle, ascoltandone il rumore, scomponendone la massa in quanto mezzo che ci permette di percepire la realtà tattile, il contenente che trattiene lo spirito, per comprendere il proprio mondo, prima di divenire universo sociale.
When the whole world tells you that your pregnancy is doomed because you have too many risk factors, an entire universe is born inside you. It grows strong and expands to become life. Her aesthetics is the temporary exclusion of the outside world to start an intimate journey. Before opening up to others, each individual feels the primordial need to look inside himself, starting from his own body. Alda’s works do not aim at a clean result that eliminates imperfections. Her main subject is an investigation into the feeling created by a closer relationship with the evolutions of the body, by dwelling the skin, listening to its noise, fractioning the mass as means that allows us to perceive tactile reality, the housing for the spirit, to understand our own world before we become social universe.
