FORMAE TEMPORIS

“Formae Temporis” è un lavoro fotografico realizzato in Garfagnana (LU), composto da una serie di immagini che descrivono la condizione di abbandono in cui vertono molti edifici, più o meno antichi, che hanno perso la loro funzione e si sono completamente lasciati andare alle trasformazioni che il tempo attua su di loro. La Garfagnana è un territorio che ben si presta a questo tipo di indagine: zona tradizionalmente rurale, in poco più di un secolo ha assistito a profondi cambiamenti e a forti spostamenti delle popolazioni locali e delle attività produttive, lasciando solo alcune tracce di un passato che non esiste più.

L'obiettivo di questa serie fotografica, di cui si presenta una selezione, non è una denuncia sul tema dell'abbandono, ma piuttosto una ricerca sull'estetica di queste nuove forme architettoniche che stanno in uno stretto rapporto osmotico con la natura che le avvolge e le modifica.

 "Formae Temporis" is a photographic work realized in Garfagnana (LU), consisting of a series of images depicting the state of abandonment in which concern many buildings, more or less ancient, that have lost their function and are fully let go the transformations that implements the time on them. The Garfagnana is an area that lends itself well to this type of investigation: traditionally rural area, just over a century has witnessed major changes and strong movements of local populations and production activities, leaving only a few traces of a past that no longer exists.The aim of this photographic series, which presents a selection, it is not a complaint on the issue of abandonment, but rather a search on the aesthetics of these new architectural forms that are in a close relationship with the osmotic nature that envelops and change.
