FAUNA D'ARTE

 

Le fotografie di Sergio Coppi ci ricordano che l'uomo è la misura di tutte le cose - come sentenziò Protagora - ovvero che la realtà, cosiddetta oggettiva, appare divera a seconda del soggetto che la osserva, la interpreta e la racconta. Coppi, negli anni, ha generosamente condiviso tante storie scritte con le luci e le ombre di una grafia sublime, inimitabile, perché intrisa dl passione, prima di tutto, ma anche della capacità di stuplrsi delle molteplici suggestioni letterarie, artistiche e musicali che capta nel suo vissuto intensamente partecipato. La sua Nîkon, da mero strumento di registrazione delle cose, diventa, nelle sue mani, un'estensione dell'anima: cattura le immagini e le trasforma in emozioni. Come poeta, Coppi mira all'essenza della vita: nel flusso degli attimi sfuggenti del transuente sa mettere a fuoco i momenti e i particolari più significativi che a volte, in apparenza, sembrano i più banali, ma è in essi che si cela la sublime elegia del quotidiano. Sergio è un artista autentico, nonostante si definisco artigiano. Non c'è bisogno di un critico che glielo ricordi, lui lo sa, ma non lo ostenta. E’ una delle persone più sensibili che abbia mai conosciuto, nonostante in apparenza sembri rude, con un carattere ispido come i suoi baffi. Ma l'apparenza inganna e Coppi non bada troppo alle apparenze effimere, va diretto all'essenza delle cose, in quel quid che rende questa vita degna di essere vissuta.

Coppi, over the years has generously shared many stories told and written with the Iights and shadows of a handwriting sublime, unique, imbued with passion because, first of all, but olso the ability to marvel at the multiple
suggestions Iìterary, artistic and musical captures in his intense/y lîved participated. His Nîkon, from a mere instrument for recording things, becomes in his hands, ari extension of the soul: Capture images and turns them into emotions,. As a poet, Coppi seeks the essence of life in the flow of fleeting moments of transuente knows to focus on the most important moments ond details that sometimes, apporently, seem the most trivial, but that is in them is hidden the sublime elegy of everyday Iife. Sergio is a true artist, olthough it defines croftsman. There is no need for a critic who remember him, he knows it, but does not flaunt it. Sergio is one of the most sensitive people I've ever known, despite apparently seem rude, with a character Iike his bristly mustoche. But appearances con be deceiving and Coppi does not mind too much the ephemeral appearances, goes stralght to the essence of things, inthat something that makes this Iife worth living.
